The Splash Pad will be open as of June 17, 2020
The Splash Pad will be unsupervised, and while it will be checked and cleaned daily, staff will not be sanitizing all features or play areas.
Please ensure the following protocols:
- Residents should wash or sanitize their hands after use
- Please ensure that proper physical distancing is taking place
- MAXIMUM OF 10 PEOPLE are allowed on the splash pad at one time
Signs will be posted at the splash pad indicating all health measures and precautions.

A black bear was spotted this morning at the Woodlands Golf Course at 37858 Huron Rd (about 2.5 KMs west of Clinton on Hwy 8). Central Huron's Animal Control Officer, Bob Trick, and the OPP were called but they could not locate the bear. Based on eyewitness statements Trick warns that the bear is a considerable size - over 200 pounds. Trick notes that the Ministry of Natural Resources have been notified but the Ministry has delegated response to these types of calls to the OPP. ...
