Flags at Half-Mast for Tumbler Ridge, B.C.

The Municipality of Central Huron will lower flags to half-mast as we join communities across Canada in mourning the tragic loss of life in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia.

We extend deep sympathies to the victims, their loved ones, and all those affected during this difficult time.

Our flags will remain lowered until sunset on February 17, 2026.

Family Day Offices Closed

Offices will resume regular hours February 17, 2026 at 8:30a.m.

(HURON COUNTY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is advising the public that it is an offence under the Highway Traffic Act to deposit snow or ice onto the roadway.
