ABCA Watershed Conditions Statement - Flood Outlook/Water Safety - April 15, 2026

A risk of isolated thunderstorms may result in higher rainfall totals, and higher water levels.

Following a few weather systems earlier this week the Ausable Bayfield watershed area is saturated, and water levels have begun to respond accordingly. The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority is issuing a Watershed Conditions Statement – Flood Outlook and Water Safety for all municipalities within the Maitland and Nine Mile River watersheds.

Hydro One will begin making upgrades to electricity meters in our community in the upcoming weeks.

Meters play a crucial role in ensuring a consistent, dependable energy supply. Hydro One is replacing the electricity meters to prepare for growing electricity needs within our community.
