New Fire Dispatch Centre

A message from Fire Chief Renner, Municipality of Central Huron

Please be advised that the Central Huron Fire Department Dispatch Centre will be transferred to the Owen Sound Emergency Communication Centre effective October 17, 2022.

If your property or business is currently monitored by an alarm company, please have them contact the Central Huron Fire Department at 519-482-3043 or the Municipal Office at 519-482-3997 to be provided with an Emergency Contact number.

Splash Pad and Park Washrooms Closing for the Season

The Municipality of Central Huron is giving notice to our residents that our Splash Pad and Park Washrooms will be closed as of Monday, September 19, 2022. 

National Day of Mourning Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II - Monday September 19, 2022

The Municipality of Central Huron’s services will be closed on Monday, September 19th , 2022 as part of the National Day of Mourning in Canada, to mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada. All Municipal services will reopen on Tuesday September 20th, 2022 at 8:30 AM. Please note that Crossing Guards will be available at their regular locations on Monday September 19th, 2022.
