Central Huron Council Acquires Former Bluewater Youth Centre Property from Infrastructure Ontario
The Municipality of Central Huron has signed an agreement to purchase the former Bluewater Youth Centre property from Infrastructure Ontario allowing the Municipality to enter into developmental opportunities to benefit the greater region.
Central Huron has budgeted approximately $5 million for the purchase and remediation of the property.

Albert Street Reconstruction Project Approved for 2021
Central Huron is pleased to share that Albert Street in Clinton will be receiving an extensive facelift this summer beginning mid to late June, and requiring four to six months to complete. The project is being jointly undertaken by Huron County and Central Huron.

Huron County, Ontario – To guide the design of residential intensification projects in the County, the County of Huron Planning Department has developed Residential Intensification Guidelines (RIGS) for use by local developers and municipalities.
