Central Huron has won two Awards at the 2025 Ontario Business Improvement Area Association's annual conference earlier this month.

This outage is necessary for Hydro One to make critical upgrades to increase capacity on a section of transmission line between Seaforth and Goderich. This upgrade is expected to enhance reliability and redundancy in the region, ultimately reducing unplanned outages. Watershed Conditions Statement - Flood Outlook

The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority is issuing a Watershed Conditions Statement – Flood Outlook for all municipalities in the Maitland and Nine Mile River watersheds.

A Colorado Low is forecast to move through the Great Lakes region bringing heavy rainfall to southwestern Ontario. At this time precipitation forecasts are variable but 50-70mm of rain is expected beginning Wednesday afternoon and continuing through Thursday morning.
