Funding Announcement: Connecting Link

Minister of Rural Affairs Lisa Thompson was joined by Mayor Ginn, Councillor Lobb, as well as municipal staff for a funding announcement.
The Municipality of Central Huron will receive $3,688,006 through the Connecting Links program to go towards the reconstruction of Huron Street (Highway 8) from Victoria Street/Albert Street (Highway 4) to the Western limit of the connecting link (Clinton).

A Connecting Link is a designated municipal road or bridge that connects two ends of a provincial highway through a community or to an international border crossing.
