Internet and Telephone Voting
The Municipality of Central Huron utilizes the alternative voting method of Internet and Telephone Voting.
It is important to ensure you are registered to vote in order to receive a Voter Information Letter. Visit RegisterToVoteON.ca to check the voters' list.
As the Voting Period gets closer, eligible voters will receive a Voter Information Letter in the mail via Canada Post which will include the following:
- Instructions on how to vote using the internet or telephone
- A unique PIN allowing each voter to vote once
- Dates and hours of voting

Should a voter a receive more than one Voter Information Letter, they must return the other letter(s) to the Municipal Office (23 Albert Street, Clinton).
When voting, electors will be given an opportunity to review and change their vote before confirming and submitting their vote. The voting system allows voters to abstain if they wish. Following the closing of the polls on October 26, 2026, the Clerk will report the unofficial results.
