Nomination Day was August 21, 2026 with the opportunity to file nominations closing at 2:00 pm. Please see the List of Certified Candidates.

The upcoming Municipal Election to elect a Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Ward Councillors and School Board Trustees will be held on Monday October 26, 2026. This four (4) year Term of Office starts November 15, 2026 and will end on November 14, 2030.

Any individual who has filed a nomination form must complete and submit a Financial Statement - Auditor's Report Candidate (Form 4) by 2:00pm on March 26, 2027 (last Friday in March following the election).
