Water and Sewer Account Information

Setting up a New Account

To set up a new Water and Sewer Account, please fill out the Online Account Set Up Form, or you can also contact the Utilities Clerk by telephone 519-482-3997 ext. 1239 or via the Utilities Clerk contact form.

Information required to open a Water & Sewer account:

  • Property & Mailing Address
  • Legal Closing Date
  • Name(s) that will appear on the bill
  • Phone number and email (if applicable)

There will be a one-time account registration fee of $35.00 that will be invoiced to you on your first bi-monthly Water and Sewer Bill. In addition, there will be a $210.00 ($120 for water services only) deposit fee upon account set up. This fee can be waived with a credit reference letter provided from a former Utilities Company.

Closing Your Water and Sewer Account

Are you moving? You need to contact us before you move to request a final meter reading on the closing date. This ensures that the account is transferred to the new owners and they are billed for the water they use. Your final bill will be mailed to your forwarding address and will include consumption from your last regular reading date to the final reading date.
