Notice of Posting of the Voters' List

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the list of all persons entitled to be electors for the municipal election in the Municipality of Central Huron has been prepared by the Clerk’s office.
As of September 1, 2026, all electors should ensure that their names and relevant information are correct on the Voters’ List.
The 2026 Central Huron Municipal Election will be convenient and accessible to all eligible voters. Identical to the voting methods used for the 2018 and 2022 Municipal Elections, electors will be voting by internet and telephone only. There will not be any polling locations and there will not be any paper ballots. In early October, electors who are on the Voters’ List will be mailed a Voter Information Letter which includes a Personal Identification Number (PIN) and detailed instructions on how to vote. Internet and Telephone Voting opens at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 and closes at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026.
Any person may make an application to the Clerk requesting the person’s name be added to or removed from the Voters’ List or that information on the Voters’ List relating to the person be amended by completing and filing the prescribed form available at:

During regular office hours between September 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 and from 10:00 a.m. to the close of voting (8:00 p.m.) on October 26, 2026. The application shall be in writing on the appropriate form (Form EL15 or EL16) available at the Central Huron Municipal Office and shall be filed in person by the applicant. All applications must be accompanied by proof of identity and residence as prescribed by Ontario Regulation 304/13.
