Central Huron considers purchase of former Bluewater Youth Centre property
Posted by Ljubica Blazevic on January 3, 2020
Central Huron has been working with the Huron County Economic Development Department to investigate options for the former Bluewater Youth Centre property. In early 2019, the County EcDev group put out Requests for Interest to gauge interest from potential developers for the 300-acre property. The County was impressed with the response from interested parties and began to work with two developers of choice to see if a deal could be organized that would facilitate economic development for the region on the former Bluewater Youth Centre site. For more information regarding Central Huron's objectives with the property please visit our Economic Development page.
